All Star Pro Elite Catcher's Mitts

The All-Star Pro Elite mitt is the OG of catcher mitts. All-Star's VP of of Sales, Marketing & Product Line Strategy, Scott Bilodeau, remarks that every glove manufacturer out there has mimicked the build and pattern of the Pro Elite series, but all these competitor versions are just imitations...not duplicates. The most popular versions of this mitt are the 33.5" models that come in the black-and-tan and all-black colorways. The original models are great for a flat-style break-in that will allow for a quick transfer time from mitt to throwing hand.
In 2025, All-Star introduced the Japan Series Pro Elite models featuring a rotated hand pattern, wide palm design and loose webbing. These new models feature the quality expected, but the build is modeled more after the mitts used frequently in Japanese baseball and it allows catchers to focus heavily on the receiving aspect of their game!
